The Westerville Public Library Local History Center has created self-guided tours to assist you in exploring the community’s historic, cultural, and architectural heritage through photographs and audio narratives.
Westerville has a rich and varied history. It was the site of Underground Railroad activity, the Westerville Whiskey Wars and the printing headquarters of the powerful Anti-Saloon League of America - the organization that brought prohibition of alcohol to the U.S.
The Local History Center at the Westerville Public Library is committed to preserving and sharing that history through collections of material of local and national interest.
The Local History Center is open Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Closed on Saturdays from 1-2 p.m.)
